The Metallic Highlands is one of New Rhea's most amazing aspects. These highlands are made out of metal alloys. This makes them a very dangerous, but very beautiful place. The Metallic Highlands would also be very good for harvesting metals if not for the fact that they're just so dangerous to go up. After all, one misstep can result in injury, and falling can result in fatality. So whenever you decide to visit these glorious, glistening highlands... just make sure that you do so very, very carefully.

The Frozen Mountains are safer than the Metallic Highlands, but not because they're any easier to traverse. Instead, this fascinating aspect of the wilds is a mountain range... made entirely out of ice. Walking along the Frozen Mountains is definitely what one would consider going up (and down) a 'slippery slope'. Of course, if one were to slip and fall while on these mountains, they'd merely end up with a few bumps and bruises.
The Frozen Mountains are most amazing to see at sunrise and sunset, when the ice of the mountains takes hold of the light and explodes it inside of ice crystals. However, these mountains are truly a sight to behold any time of day or night.

The Luminous Ocean is a mystery of sorts to all of New Rhea. This ocean is as plain and simple as any other body of water.. except that the water seems to have this perpetual glow. Many have studied samples of the water (both deep and surface), and yet there is no reason why this water glows the way it does. Of course, the glow is not very bright, but instead, it is a soft, almost eerie glow. Many families keep jars filled with water from the Luminous Ocean to provide gentle light.
Note: The glow from the Luminous Ocean is strictly with the water. Taking a dip into the ocean will only make your character glow so long as the water clings to them. After the water is gone, so is the glow.

The Living Sea

The Living Sea, much like the Luminous Ocean, is a bit of a mystery to New Rhea's inhabitants. The Living Sea is named as such not for its abundance of life - although it has that, too - but instead for the fact that the water is in a perpetual state of motion. The Living Sea moves much like oceans would on a beach, with waves and tides, even though it's not nearly big enough. The water from this sea even moves when put into a container. Although many studies have been attempted on why the Living Sea is this way, no answer has been found.

The Wilds
The Wilds are the places on New Rhea that have not been settled in. Very often, these are the places that are common hangouts for the species that are more nature-based, such as the Fer'oon. However, the Wilds can never be claimed by any one species, as they are what their name states them to be: Wild.
